Privacy notice

Last updated October 23, 2026. This covers rewindreel.com and its waitlist. Questions or requests: hello@rewindreel.com.

When you join the waitlist

• Your email address.
• The X handle you typed, if any, and any question you typed.
• Your optional answers: who the report is for, and what it would be worth to you.
• The tag in the link that brought you (for example ?ref=dang) and which demos you opened on that visit.
• Your country, which Cloudflare works out from your connection. We don't store your IP address.

When you just visit

An anonymous visit record: a random id made for that page view only, the site or link tag you came from, how far you got (for example "played a demo" or "opened the waitlist"), time on the page, screen width and country.

No cookies, nothing stored in your browser and no ad trackers. Every file the page uses (fonts, scripts, images, audio) comes from rewindreel.com. The one exception is Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-free page-view counter from Cloudflare, which hosts the site; it doesn't track you across sites. The "Share on X" button opens x.com, which has its own privacy policy.

Why

To email you when your spot opens, and to measure how many people want Rewind and what they'd pay. We don't sell your data, share it with advertisers or add you to any other list. Every email we send has a way to unsubscribe.

Under the GDPR and the LGPD, the waitlist rests on your consent (you choose to submit the form) and the anonymous visit stats on our legitimate interest in knowing whether the page works.

Where it's kept, and for how long

On Cloudflare, which hosts the site; data may be processed in the United States and other countries where Cloudflare operates. Visit records and the raw sign-up log at Cloudflare delete themselves after 92 days. Our working copy of the waitlist, kept on our own server, stays until Rewind launches and for up to 12 months after, or until you ask us to delete it.

Your choices

Email hello@rewindreel.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to leave the waitlist. We answer within 30 days. A deletion removes you from our copy straight away; the raw log entry at Cloudflare can't be edited and expires on its own within 92 days, and we never use it for anyone who asked to leave.

If you're on X and want out of Rewind

Rewind builds its reports from public posts. To keep your profile out of Rewind, email us your handle and we'll block it from future reports. We may ask you to confirm from that X account, so nobody can block someone else.

Children

Rewind isn't meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
